Question: My wife is asking for a divorce. Do i have the right to ask/make her change her last name, in the divorce decree?
Answer:
The answer to your question is "no." Your wife has the option of restoring her maiden name. She is not required to do so. She will not be forced to change her last name (ie. married name to maiden name) if she does not wish to do so.
