Question: does the parent paying for the insuranse for the child have to pay what ever the insurance does not cover
Answer: Please read the article “Child Support” on this website . Often times, who pays for the healthcare of the child is decided in the parenting plan or between the parents outside of court. Arizona law states the following on providing for children: “Every person has the duty to provide all reasonable support for that person's natural and adopted minor, unemancipated children, regardless of the presence or residence of the child in this state.” ARS 25-501.
