Question: If my ex-wife has relocated out the country and I have no idea were my kids are should I be required to continue to pay child support when my parental rights are being denied?
Answer: Denial of parental rights and the children no longer being in Arizona are not considered valid reasons to not pay child support. A.R.S. 25-509 states, "... [e]very person has the duty to provide all reasonable support for that person's natural and adopted minor, unemancipated children, regardless of the presence or residence of the child in this state."
