Child Support

questions & answers

Question: How can I get assistance in filing a child support modification in the state of AZ when the other party is refusing to cooperate? I currently cannot afford an attorney. Thank you.

Answer: You can go on the website for family court and get the forms and instructions you need to file for a modification.  The exact procedure varies from county to county.  For example:  in Pima County Superior Court, you access the self-service center and look under family law.  There you will find a form and instructions for modifying child support.  In Maricopa County, you access ez court forms and log in.  Go to http://www.azcourts.gov and select the county where you live.  Then look for court forms and instructions in family law.
