Child Support
questions & answers
Question: How long do i have to notify the other party of a pay change and how do i go about notifying them?
Answer: A pay change, whether referring to a change in child support payments, or a change in earned income, is submitted to the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES). A person can modify child support by filling out the packet provided on the DES website and dropping it off at the DES office within the county which that person lives. The other party will be notified of any modification, and this process is outlined in the modification packet provided on the DES website.
