Question: What can I do when my ex girlfriend who is pregnant isn't going to tell me when and where our baby is going to be born?

Answer: Arizona Revised Statute, section 25-803 gives you the right to file an action to establish paternity.  You can file your action during your girlfriend's pregnancy or after the child is born  A.R.S. 25-804.  A lawyer can help you file the action and advise you of your rights.  If you cannot afford a lawyer, go to the website for your local Superior Court and visit the self-help center.  There, you can download the forms you need.  You may also call a lawyer referral service .  For a $40 fee, the lawyer referral service will set you up for a 1/2 hour conference with an experienced lawyer who can advise you on the best course of action.
