Question: So my niece got taken away from her mother by cps and was placed with the step father . My brother her dad is in prison is there anyway i can get her back.

Answer: When a child is placed in custody of the Dept. of Child Services (now called the Department of Child Safety or DCS), they usually try to find a family member that is able to care for the child.  You may wish to contact the DCS office case worker to see if it's possible that you could be considered as a foster parent.  You may also want to see if you can seek guardianship over the child.  The courts have information and forms at http://www.azcourts.gov/familylaw
