It says that I am hevy summoned and required to appear and defend in the abouve entitled action, in superior court within twenty days to respond. I went to the required class that they talk about but, I have no idea what to do from here?

Answer:

You may want to consult with an attorney to discuss how the law applies to your specific situation. When a person is sent a summons, they may have various courses of action that they can choose to take. To find out which action is in your best interest, you may want to meet with an attorney.

In Arizona, Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.), Title 25, Chapter 6, Article 1 deals with paternity proceedings. The statutes begin with A.R.S. § 25-801.

Also, you may want to look to your local superior court which may have the specific forms for paternity actions as well as instructions on how to complete the forms. In Maricopa County, you can find those forms online at the Maricopa County Superior Court's website. In Pima County, you can find paternity forms on the Pima County Superior Court's website.
