Question: I received a request for paternity for my son we took the test i havnt received the results but the state has and now wheni took up my case it says they scheduled an establishment hearing what does that mean?

Answer:

An Establishment Hearing in regards to a paternity test could mean that at the time of the hearing the court will announce that the person in question is or is not the father of the child. The court could also determine the amount of child support required at the time of the hearing.
