Child Custody
questions & answers
Question: Where do I find the forms to file to move my kids out of state (custody)
Answer:
Depending on where you currently reside, you may want to contact your local superior court to ask if they have forms available. You can find family law forms online on both the Maricopa and Pima County Superior Court websites. If you cannot locate the form online, you may want to contact the court self service centers directly. Also, you may want to contact your local library or university law library for law forms.
Note that the ability to move your children out of state can be very fact specific, depending on the facts of your divorce decree. You may want to contact an attorney to find out what procedures you must follow if you wish to move out of state with your children.
