Question: I submitted an application to Community Legal Services, yesterday, for Cody Mohr. What is the next step? I attempted to call the Central office today. I was on hold and had only one person ahead of me, then the hour passed and they hung up, as they stated they would. I can try again tomorrow. Should Cody and I go down to their office. Would he be able to find out when he might get to talk to someone about free legal help? Please advise. Cody's daughter is very bright should not have been held back in 1st grade. Answer: Community Legal Services is a busy office and it's not unusual for you to be waiting on hold and then it disconnects.  I would suggest you going to the office and fill out the paperwork, you may have a better chance of seeing someone or setting an appointment.  If they are not able to assist you, you may qualify for the Modest Means Project.   Go to our Access to Justice portal  at AzLawHelp.org or call 866-637-5341 to be screened.
