Question: i asked a question a few weeks ago but i cannot recall my assigned id number to check the answer. i live in ca but my child lives in az and i have a custody case in maricopa county. my childs mom is on drugs and has tested positive on court mandated drug tests. i am trying to obtain legal services. i do not have funds so i was directed to this site. is there any way i can get help even tho i live out of state?

Answer: You may be eligible for the Modest Means Project. If you contact us at 866-637-5341 M-F between 10 and 12 noon, or 1-3 p.m. someone can screen you for the Modest Means Project and explain how the project works. You may be able to receive a consultation with an attorney for $75. You can also contact your local Community Legal Service office and ask that they send your paperwork to the Community Legal Service office in Phoenix, AZ for legal representation.
