Child Custody
questions & answers
Question: My daughter's mom filed for child support this summer. Now she is trying to move away without my consent. What can I do to stop this? I don't have much money cause it's going to child support. Please help ASAP!
Answer: Parties leaving the state with a child usually have to give 60 days notice before leaving. The Maricopa Superior Court has a self help center online that may help. http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/SuperiorCourt/Self-ServiceCenter/Forms/FamilyCourt/index.asp If you are located outside of maricopa, your local county superior court may also have self help forms.
