Question: I was arrested for domestic violence but my case got dismissed. Can I get the arrest off of my record?
Answer: Arizona law (ARS § 13-4051) states that “Any person who is wrongfully arrested, indicted or otherwise charged for any crime may petition the superior court for entry on all court records, police records and any other records of any other agency relating to such arrest or indictment a notation that the person has been cleared.” Contact your county superior court the for information about petition requirements and instructions for how to file.
