Child Custody
questions & answers
Question: How do I serve my child's Father court papers if he is missing?
Answer: Pursuant to Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedures 41 & 42 the courts may allow service by publication to serve a party. A person will have to declare to the court that they have made every reasonable, good-faith effort in attempting to locate the other party. The Maricopa County Superior Court provides instructions and forms to serve a party. The forms and instructions can be found at: http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/SuperiorCourt/Self-ServiceCenter/Forms/FamilyCourt/fc_gn2.asp
