QUESTIONS

  • paid application fee (30.00), and was approved during special of 99.00 per month advertisement. Contacted mgmt, then was told there was nothing available, requested return of 30.00 app fee (denied)told non-refundable. How can they take a app or a fee if nothing is available. When lot came available, because of timing had no choice but to take, but we were told rent was now 295.00 instead of 99.00 even after being approved at special offering but nothing available. Do I have any recourse, and now 7 months later 99.00 special is available. Any Help would be great. thanks for the help
  • Trying to sell my mobile home in private rv park, landlord has taken 6 weeks in process of qualifying new tenant. Requiring all sorts of paperwork and credit card statements for past 2 years, new tenant proved high credit rating and no criminal background, finally he said he was thru and withdrew application which made sale of my mobile home cancelled. Meantime I have turned down a few buyers waiting this unreasonable amount of time for approval of a good reasonable buyer. How long is lawful to make a buyer wait for approval into a mobile home park. I fear this will never end.
  • My child was given another childs bottle at the daycare/gym after which he contracted an illness. This resulted in a $1200 bill. The daycare/gym needs to be responsible for this. I am needing guidance on how to file a claim against them to have them pay this or re emburse me. They are ignoring me.
  • I am deploying to go to afghanistan. I want to file for divorce but am concerned that may not go in my favor at this time. Can my spouse file for a divorce legally? I am leaving in july. How long does a divorce take , can it be finalized w/o me being present? If we have our own vehicles, both names r on each, could it possibly be divided where I keep my truck? Thank u
  • Can a property manager waive the application fee if I am a senior citizen and disabled
  • I was on the highway when a vehicle rear ended me. Highpatrol exchange insurance information and never gave the driver a citation. I had to get medically treated and my car is not safe and messed up. When i filled a claim with my insurance company they said they couldnt do anything because the driver that hit me was not insured and the information he gave the officer was not valid. What can i do, i am hurt and my car is not safe to drive.
  • My ex's visitation is every other holiday break and half of the summer. He disappears for months at a time, last time being 4 months and he was in jail; he is also far behind on his support. He now wants to have them for the summer in TX. I have qualms about it because the last time he took them out of state, he didn't bring them home, I had to figure out a way to go get them. Additionally, the last time he had them here for their break, he had me pick them up after 6 days because he couldn't handle it. Can I legally deny him visitation out of state?
  • Me and the mother of my child do not have any custody but I have had my daughter sense last May 22nd does that give me legal rights and custody or something?
  • We were invited to come and live in my niece and nephews Casita. We made plans for over 3 years. It was agreed we would come and work and save 35,000.00 and then buy a home. It was agreed that I would help clean their home and cook dinner. Shortly after we arrived my nieces husband started acting very strange. He decided he wanted us out after we left everything behind to start a new life. He is pressuring my niece to get us out. She says we can continue to stay until we get our house. Can he override what we all have agreed on?
  • I am representing myself in a modification of child custody. We have a trial set for November of this year. Throught all of the proceedings my ex-husband has not responded or filed any countering affidavits. His wife is now saying she will represent him in court as she has power of attorney over him. He is out of the country for 3 years (the courts are aware of this) but he is not with the military. Does the POA give his wife any ability to represent him? File statements or court documents on his behalf?
