QUESTIONS

  • What are my rights as a grandparent to see my grandchildren that are being kept from us by their parents.
  • What is the responsibility of the Landlord of a 55+ park regarding safety from burglary and robbery? We have had a number of these lately and it doesn't appear our Landlord is doing anything about it.
  • Our living TRUST was updated for the state of California; should it be updated for Arizona since this is now our primary residence?
  • Who decides the division of the assets and debts? Persons of the marriage or their attorneys?
  • I had my daughter 3 years ago and did not have her father sign the birth certificate we are still together and he wants to sign her birth certificate how would we go about him signing it
  • We signed a year lease, Feb.2015. There was a note on our door, may 4th,2015 saying we haven't signed yet. We called the Apt. Mngr. and he looked it up on the computer and saw that we did sign a lease but the year was wrong on the lease. Instead of 2015-16 it said 2014-15 but it has our signatures and the right date of signing 2-28-15. Nobody caught that when we signed in Feb.He said to come in and resign. When we went yesterday to resign he said the rent also increased even though we were quoted the price in the lease in Feb. This seems unfair and wrong/illegal?Help appreciated. Thanks, Tom
  • After eviction judgement is served, how many days must the landlord keep tenants personal effects in storage? when can the landlord dispose of the said tenants belongings?
  • If the divorce decree states that the father is responsible for dental costs for our children, must he carry dental insurance?? If not and he claims he is unable to pay the 2/3 of he medical/dental that is not covered by insurance what action can I take to get him to pay?
  • My wife's parents are a not good influence on our family and we have told them to stay away. They refuse, and have gone as far as just sitting on my front porch in the heat refusing to leave after being told to leave so many times it makes my head spin. They wont tell us but they have told (someone that wont be named) that they would seek a lawyer to see there grand kids. Do they have any right at all to do that? we are married and are doing great, except when they are around. were a little scared and need to know if there is anyway they could side step (us) the parents and get visitation.
  • how many months do one has to wait to reapply for ALTCS, if you have been denied and you are now in Hospice, awaiting salvation. Also, does the Nursing Home Care Reform Act of 1987 is still effective and can a skilled nursing facility force a relative or family member to take you in if all your Medicaid/Medicare benefit days have been exhausted and the facility corporate office has threaten to issue a 30 day notice to evict? Thanks
