I did a plea bargain 9 years ago on a DUI. The court put out a warrant on me, they said I did not complete 36 hours of alcohol treatment. My attorney, does not keep records over 5 years. Can the city court bring up this after 9 years and say it was a pending case?

I was served my notices and went to court with my landlord. She got a judgement against me for unpaid rent and was granted a writ of restitution to be received on 9-1-09. On the morning of 9-1-09 when I returned to the property to finish moving, she had locked the gates. My dogs were still there and I had not been served the writ by the constable. Turns out that she did not received the writ until 10:18 that morning but the gates were locked at 8:48 a.m. Does the writ have to be served or is it just given to the landlord and they can do as they please?

I had a security deposit of $400 at my apartment and I still haven't received the security deposit. It's been about a month and a half. Everytime I call they avoid helping me and have stopped responding to my emails. I dont know if its because they find it annoying or they just dont have the deposit. What are legal ways I can pursue my security deposit. I have also sent them a demand letter. What is the reasonable time to sue and what is the maximum I can sue for?
