QUESTIONS

  • Our lease states that a clothes washer and dryer are "furnished appliances." Knowing that they would be here is part of what made us decide to move here. We discussed it with our landlord before we moved in, and he said he would have take care of it. After two months, we still don't have a washer and dryer. When I brought it up to the landlord last week, he said he didn't remember the conversation, but if I wanted, he would buy a washer and dryer, and he would let us pay it off with our rent. I looked at the lease again, just to make sure I remembered correctly, and don't understand this.
  • There are 4 households renting on one property. Can landlord evict 1 household and not the othets for no reason?
  • Does my landlord have to have the correct size AC unit to support the sq. footage of the home I'm renting from him?

  • I wish to sell my mobile home located in a MH Park. The Owner of the park told me I have to sell it to him under the "Right of First Refusal" Law. I do not want to sell it to him, as he will use it as a rental. He is using this ROFR for personal gains. I have a buyer already. Does he have the right to force me to sell it to him under this ROFR? He has this written in current Rules and Regulations for tenants. He has already obtained two MH’s from owners by using this statement, and is now renting them out. Is this legal?

For a while, they had their own bug guy come in and treat our apartment once we moved in, but now they stopped. We canot get rid of them!!!! I'm so sick of them biting us, and my daughter somehow eating dead ones. What can we do?!?!? This is our main concern, as they don't do a great job anyways.
