My 19 yr old son sought rental assistance by allowing roommates into the apartment and are now trashing the apartment. I had to leave to Chicago due to family medical reasons and taking care of my elderly parents. The roommates have not paid rent for the past two months and are running up a bill that I can no longer afford. My son is in a job training program hoping to finish with experience to support himself. I am concerned that the roommates are trashing the apartment and take my belongings. how do I evict them? they are not on the lease, refuse to be on the lease and are 19& 22 yrsol

My 72 year old dad is getting married to a 57 year old woman on disability. We found out she owes a sizeable debt to the government. Will my dad's social security payment be garnished to re-pay her debt or will his retirement/salary be garnished once they file income taxes as a married couple? Thanks,

We were paying our electricity through our apartment complex. They would bill it to us each month with our rent with a 50 dollar service fee. Last month they didn't bill us for it and it wasn't in our bill, so we were waiting until they gave us the bill or it was just added on to next months payment and/or rent. They did add it on to the next months rent/bill and we usually pay the 3rd if every month which isn't late. They turned off our power without any notice AT ALL on the second. They didn't give any warning what so ever. Is that legal?!

My lease states that 2 adults are allowed to leave in the premises. I had a friend stay with me and my landlord forced me to kicked them out. He said that having somebody else stay with me without his approval meant I broke the lease and he could evict me. I have always paid rent on time and he is enforcing rules with me that he is not enforcing with the other tenants. I can't afford a lawyer and I fell harassed. What are my options?
