  • I live in San Diego now, but was receiving UI from Arizona. My benefits were cut because I am in a training program that pays a stipend. UI insists that the stipend is income, but no taxes were taken out. I need to file an appeal.
  • My landlord was supposed to only go into the basement threw the basement door the one day with the plumber. She ended up walking all threw my home and told me about my child's room and drawers were went threw. But she claims my 8 lb yorkie dog and pooped on the floor and this was only 3 days after I moved in .   • Does the Superior Court have a procedure for expedited processing of time sensitive cases? If so, would that procedure be applicable to a foreclosure of the right to redeem a tax lien?
  • I evicted a roommate and gave them 21 days to remove all of their belongings from my property. It was stated in the eviction notice, and agreed upon, that if after that period the belongings were not collected, that I had the right to dispose of said property as I see fit. The 21 day period ended September 2nd 2013. It is now October 17 and this person in threatening to take me to court because I will not allow collection of the property. Does he have the right to do that? What are my rights?

He says the landlord lets him use it. I feel like I have no privacy whatsoever!
  • In Arizona the state law requires that a security deposit must be returned within 14 days of the move out date. Does this law still apply if my lease agreement states that the refund will be sent out with in 30 days? Do they still have to provide the refund with in 14 days? or does the lease agreement void that law?
