  • My ex boss and I had a disagreement about a verification issue through email. She was very rude and disrespectful. The following morning my husband who is her current employee called me to tell me that she cc'd him in his email the conversation. Is this a privacy breech? Although, he is my husband, he is a current employee and I am not. This is second time this has happened. The first time with a different employee. Do I have any legal rights here?
  • I was convicted of DV Agg. Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon in 2001. I served 3.5 yrs. for this crime. I was under the influence of drugs/alcohol at the time, and also going thru a bitter divorce suit. I am wondering if there is any way I can get my gun rights restored? I am not planning on going hunting, or shooting someone, but with the crime rate escalating due to the economy staggering, I would NOT want to be sentenced to prison for protecting my own life as a prohibited possessor. What, if any, steps do I need to take to attempt to restore my rights. Thank You for you time !!!

A judgment has yet to be made, however my husband has recently been offered a job opportunity in another state that requires we relocate before our next court date. We are in the process of notifying the court, however we fear his mother will object to the transfer and not allow us to relocate to another state. Does his mother have the right to keep us from relocating?

  • After foreclosure involving a single family residence the new owner filed an unlawful detainer action against the tenants who had no rental agreement after serving them with a 90 day notice to quit. The tenants refuse to move and have not paid rent. They only had a month to month oral agreement with the former owner. One of the tenants claims that he is on parole and cannot be evicted. Im 3 months into my new lease and they still refuse to make repairs!!!! Can I break my lease without penalty because of neglected repairs?
  • I have a collection on my credit report which belongs to my husband. When contacting the collection agency, they told me that this collection will stay on my report because I am married to the person which ows them money. The account was included in our bankruptcy in 2013 as an individual debt and not a joint debt. Am I responsible for my husbands debt? It was for electrical service my husband applied for himself.
