My ex-wife has sole custody of our kids. She constantly uses it to her advantage. We have arranged time for me to have the kids but if it doesn't benefit her she will make it very difficult. I want to have a very set time for which we have the kids and I want to be able to have more imput in decisions regarding the kids. I need to get joint custody. What would be the first steps to do this?

I got divorced about a year ago now and my ex got me for child support since she was paying the insurance for the kids. We have 4 kids together but only 1 of them qualified for support. Now a year later I have tried to contact my kids and see them and help as much as I can as well as I even put all 4 of my kids under my insurance. Now I am expecting a new baby within the month and none of my kids want to talk or see me. I still pay their insurance and try to talk with them. I need information on Child Support.

If I am out of state on FMLA and Landlord knows this and delivers court summons to house I rented 2 days before court and I got a copy 2 days before and I don't show for court but call court can I still fight process . I am in a dilemma.

I just had a baby and an ex-boyfriend who is not the father of my baby is taking me for paternity test. Do I have to pay court fees every time someone wants to claim to be the father of my child. I was not even with him at the time and the father of my baby is on birth certificate and the baby has the fathers last name. Question is why do I have to pay court fees to respond, it's like anyone can petion to be the father and I have to pay court fees when I alresdy know who father is
