QUESTIONS

  • I allowed myself to be manipulated to sign an agreement for matchmaking service at 9 at night. The next morning I realized I could not affort it and I wrote a letter to cancel it (via e mail). They responded so I know they received it. The fine print on the contract I signed states the letter must be certified. My understanding is that certified simply ensures the recipient receives the letter. They did respond to e mail. Now, they are stating that they are suing me for the full amount and that I also signed that I must pay all legal fees. Do have any rights here? It has been 2 weeks. Thankyou
  • My 10 year old's mother moved to NY. She did so without notice and has no intent of wanting him to move there. We currently have joint legal custody. How do I ensure that when he visits she will return him as agreed upon and that it doesn't look like I willingly sent him there for more than a visit? Also, can she sign to give me sole decision making and physical custody since she is not here to make major decisions regarding school, health, etc.?

  • My apartment is being infested with cockroaches due to my filthy neighbors. I have talked with the leasing office multiple times over the occasion and their have not addressed with with the neighbors. The only solution they have offered is the tiny cockroach tabs to put in cabinets. I have not had food or trash in my apartment for over two months because of not being able to live there with the cockroaches. Is there a way to break my lease because the landlord has not provided a "safe and habitual environment?"

  • Yes my wife has had custody of her niece since she was 6 months old her niece now is almost 7 years old the biological mother is now starting to show up in the picture but only reason why she is the picture is because she has had another baby in the last 3 months cps was involved because she was dirty with meth i just wanna know what rights does my wife have because the biological n the grandmother have been arguing with my wife bout taking the 7 year old back but the 7 year old know as mom n dad
