I was listed as a person residing in the mobile home park where my mother was leasing a space. She has passed away and the landlord now wants me to move out even though the lease has not yet expired. Do I have a right to stay.

the park i live in said i was 15.00 late in nov...so they wouldnt take dec,jan , when we went to court they said pay it and yoou can stay. after court noticed my monthy rent amount is 240.00 for the past year ive been paying 260.00

I own my own trailer, but rent the space.Discrimination &real harrassment from landlord.Now told I can't sell,unless it's moved Can't use laundry room, much more.Me-over-n55,quiet,clean,rent paid,no alcohol-drugs.Lowincome,nocar.

Does the landlord of mobile have to keep it in good condition? I have mold growing in walls and closets and dont' know what to do. He tells me just to move. Help

  • I own a mobile home and rent a lot in a community. We are required to maintain existing trees and shrubbery(and are charged) if we don't. What are the laws on the subject, or where can I find them? My wife and I are both disabled and it is both difficult and expensive for us. Thank you
  • We have lived in an over 55 community for over 5 years always paying space rent by check, and never being late. Now they say they will not accept payment by check by anyone and if you try to pay by rent they will return your check. They want you to pay by portal or they can automatically deduct from your account. Is this legal?
  • The ownership of the mobile home park is requiring that I pay to repair a sewage line attached to my mobile home that has deteriorated over the years due to no fault of my own. Is this legal, since I own only the mobile home and not the lot it sits on.
  • There is a gas leak between my meter & my mobile home. The park said it is my responsibility to fix it. I only rent the space. Shouldn't the utilities outside my home be the responsibility of the park?

  • Hello I own my Mobile home with a clean title but rent the space. I have been in the same park for four years. I am under a written month to month rental agreement that I signed in November of 2016. There is no expiration date on the rental agreement nor has it been terminated. New management has taken over and are treating all tenants as holdover. Since a month to month tenancy is self renewing, doesn't new management have to terminate the existing rental agreement before I am considered a holdover tenant? Further, they have issued a 14/30 cure quit notice on the demand to sign a lease.
  • What are the requirements for landlord (park owner) to provide adequate electric service to a mobile home?
  • What do you do if the owner of a mobile home park gails to maintain the streets? There are no sidewalks to walk so your forced to walk on the street where there are pot holes and cracks eveywhere. No only does ut poes a risk and damage to your cars but the fear of falling in the streets cuss of all the potholes and cracks. Who do we need to notify about this?
  • I have a park manager refusing me access to the community pool because of a late night swim when the gates were closed. No property was damaged. The only reason this is being blown out of proportion is because I had some colorful words with the "KING"(or so he thinks) neighborhood gossip. Him and management are close. They're taking action against me out of spite to make me feel inferior against them.Can I be arrested if I go swimming anyway and ignore the pool moniter? How long can she refuse an amenity I pay for? I own the home, rent the space. I don't know if that makes a difference. -Sara
