QUESTIONS

  • I had a verbal agreement with my landlord that i could take over payments and own the house i was renting from him. He changed his mind and now tells me i have to leave today. I am a elderly vet who lives on his disability checks. what right do i have? I have a witness to the verbal agreement.
  • I have resided in the same rental property for over a year. I was told I was renewed for another year. 3 months into the second year the landlord (owner/realtor) told me I have to buy the house or move. He wants twice what it is worth or I have to move. I know this is not legal as a tenant but does this also violate real estate laws? I would very much like to report him to proper authorities but to whom would I report such a thing?

  • The original lease was not an AZ Law Lease Form. One yearlease ended November 20he original 14. It has been month to month I severred eviction notice May 15, 2016 On the original non AZ form it states tenant has 60 days to vacate. Is this true or can I proceed with 30 days. I don't known if I have to honor the original (wrong state lease or go by AZ law eviction process. Thank you.
