We received a judgement in out favor in Small Claims and then had a debtors examination that was a no show. How do we collect this debt?

I got a equity loan for 30,000 on may 2007. On march 2009 got laid off my home was in foreclosure status. I became disabaled and filed in 2010. During which time my account was given to a lawfirm for collection. Well in 2011 I received my disability and soon after received a new agreement on my home from chase bank to refinance which we did. After this the lawfirm kept at me about owing on this account and they garnished my wifes checks and now shes not able to work their taking us to court come to find out this is my mortgage acct. and me and chase agreed on a new contract back in 2011.

I have a credit card debt from 2004 that has been sold to a collector. Can there be garnishment to wages or just go after assets. Was served papers today. There was already a judgement about a year ago. Now I go another one.

I have a credit card with the same bank where I have a Certificate of Deposit. My credit card payments are in default. I was using a credit counseling company to help me get out of debt and help me arrange a payment plan on the overdue credit card debt. The bank used my Certificate of Deposit to pay off the credit card debt without my permission. Is this legal?

I am being sued/summoned from Chase through a debt collector to appear in court, they came to my home and made my 16 year old daughter sign the document, This is a 6 year old debt (they sent this account in January 1st 2008 to collection) and after this date I didn't receive any collection letters. I am afraid to face charges or fees other than owed. I need legal advice please!

I currently have a wage garnishment in place (am going to file bankruptcy but havent finished paying all amts yet) after 1st garnishment i fell at home breaking ankle dr. put me on short term disability, I pay into this thru work and have received disability insurance payments, my question is can my disablity payments be garnished (my wk's corp ofc is in Ohio, payroll dept there not entirely sure)or is it considered exempt
