Where to Find an Attorney for Specific Legal Advice

Arizona has three legal aid organizations which cover different regions of the state.

  1. Community Legal Services (800) 852-9075 covers Maricopa, Mohave, Yavapai, Yuma and LaPaz Counties.
  2. Southern Arizona Legal Aid (800) 640-9465 covers southern Arizona.
  3. DNA People’s Legal Services (800) 789-7287 covers northern Arizona.

All legal service programs in Arizona differ, and their criteria for accepting cases vary. The legal aid organizations above all have the same criteria of income restrictions and legal status requirements, but do have varying priorities.

Individuals may apply for free and reduced fee legal services by using the "Access To Justice Online Intake System" through AZLawHelp. 

If the legal services program in your area cannot assist you, you may be able to find a lawyer through lawyer referral services in Maricopa County (602) 257-4434 or Pima County (520) 623-4625.

The State Bar also maintains a listing of all Arizona attorneys on their website, and certifies “specialists” in eight legal areas. (Not all attorneys seek such certification, however.) Lists of specialists can also be found at the State Bar of Arizona’s website.

  • I own a trailer but rent the space from the mobile park home. the main water meter broke and they charge me for the water that was flooding the of the rest space. Which I sent the money into them. Now they sent the money back to me. They are refusing to take that payment for my rent because the yard where they dug up to fix the parks water meter and there's some weeds in the front yard are they able to refuse to take my rent?
  • On the month of April the rent was sent out and i was having trouble gathering the rent money because I got layed of for covid-19, but I didn’t know that the landlord wasn’t charging any late fees I didn’t get any letter no notice, nothing I found out by a neighbored still paid it by my 5 day window. Then the last week of April I didn’t receive the rent bill no one in the parking lot did. But the landlord said she did send it out, we all know she didn’t so I waited a few days the 6 th day I get the rent with late charges but didn’t get the normal rent bill in the first place can she do that?
  • I bought a mobile home in a park. I pay space rent and a payment on the mobile. I received a list showing breakdown of interest and principal. I also paid a 5,000 down payment. She refuses to give me a title with her as the lien holder. I cannot sell it because I do not own it. It is my understanding is that I should just move out. She would own the mobile. She gives me -0- not even my down payment. My understanding is that AZ is a title holding state. Not a lien holder state. What is right. What can I do?

Then for the next 6 months they refused every month to take my rent. Now after all that time I want to sell my trailer and the park won't let me remove it and say I have to now pay over 7000 dollars in back rent. Can they do this.
  • I live at -- Mobile home park in Tucson. I own my trailer and rent the space. Here a week and a half ago, the gas co.shut off service to the park stating the line was leaking. The landlord isn't wanting to repair or replace the line due to the expense. There's about 40 trailers here. The landlord won't answer or return call. What would be the next step
  • I lease from a landlord but the park is owned by another party. Can the owner legally remove my guest if he has already asked me to "get rid of her"?
