I moved back to my paid off house after 2 years away from an extremely violent crack addict. He has now forced his way back into my home because he is a freeloader and wants to live withowut paying a single bill. When I tell him to leave he says FU, make me. He believes that he owns everything I have and takes my car 24/7 so I have no way out. When I attempt to do anything he destroys my things or steals them and pawns them. If I do anything at all to call for help he destroys my phone and beats me up and threatens to destroy my house. He is the biggest fake but noone believes me. HELP

CAN A PLAINTIFF (VICTIM) BE ARRESTED FOR TALKING TO THE DEFENDANT WITH THE ORDER OF PROTECTION IN PLACE

My dad left when i was baby. He just came back into my life a year ago, my mom has custody of me. But this past year i have been emointally abused and have had a few situatons with being physically abused as well. This is causing my school work to drop, and i cant take living here anymore. I have tried to find a way to live with my dad until i graduate, but i would like to know if there is any legal way i can move out, so I can get my life together and finish school without any problems.

I filed for a order of protection 2/18 & defendant filed to drop it (heating 3/4). Judge said there were 2 violations since OP was granted but since I replied to his saying he was sorry to hear about the death of my 23 yr. old cat (no law says I can't contact him!) he/Judge said he's only guilty of one violation ...yet he firmly told defendant to leave me alone & granted his request to dismiss the Order of Protection. What can I do about this injustice? By the way we are a bit racial couple

I see a lot of doctrine that establishes the means of acquiring a Protection Order, but I see nothing in regards to the ramifications of filing a false one. So my question is; does filing a false Protection Order, also include immunity from prosecution? Is there any justice for anyone who has been the victim of a system remedy, which has been abused to the point where it has become weapon, rendering it ineffective? Its ironic that a system created to help victims, in turn makes victims. Was that the intended purpose, to deprive fathers of their children and create a plethora problems?

Say you live with someone, or vice-versa.. (who's name is NOT on the Lease) & they petition for an Order of Protection against you & they also filled out the paperwork using your address. How does this work exactly, when it's YOUR address?

I have had my brother in law and his wife here at my residence that I am renting for seven months. They were told repeated times to start paying a specific amount of money a month and ignored my requests. They chose not to sign a written agreement and still refuse to pay. They are not on the lease either. I want to know if I have grounds to give them a 5 or 30 day notice to vacate. And if I can mail it, as they are staying with someone else for a couple months, or if I have to hand it to them personally. Thank you

My husband was evicted from our home last year when I filed a protective order. After he was gone, I found out he had not been paying the mortgage. I am trying to get the mortgage modified based on my income alone. I need a Quit Claim Deed but he refuses to speak to me. Can I file abandonment to get the court's help with this as part of the divorce?

Im separated not yet divorced. We lived in Arizona then agreed to move to Colorado last August. While in Colorado she was verbally abusive, she cheated and at one point hit me in front of our son and daughter. I told her I no longer wanted to be with her. She took the kids back to Arizona.I only allowed this because she said she would send them to me in January, yet never did.I have emails to prove hitting&leaving agreement. Also of her saying I cant skype the kids unless I sends money, though I have been biweekly.I want custody but dont have the funds right now. Where can I start?
