My boyfriend was arrested last night for aggravated assault against me. I told the police that he has a history of mental illness and that he needed to go to a psychiatric hospital but they took him to jail anyway. I am not pressing charges but I am afraid the state will. How do I help him get the charge dropped and get mental help?

My ex is pregnant and we have tried but cannot get along I have asked her to leave she will not. She does not work nor has she the entire time we have been together. We do not own any property or rent a apartment or home together. I have a travel trailler I just purchased and found a cheap yard to store it and live in temporarily only two weeks ago. We have tried well given a chance to say the least. I tried for the sake of new coming baby. Her violence and abuse threatening and destroying my property ruining my work equipment and vehicle. She has been arrested one time already for violence.

how can i get an orders of protection against someone with no police report?

I am not married to my daughters father, we recently split due to domestic violence. I am talking with him and his lawyer to get a resolution before our temporary orders hearing. The only term we are not agreeing on is that I want to stipulate that my daughter and I can relocate to Colorado in a year. His attorney keeps saying the courts will not accept that even if we come to an agreement on everything else before our court date. I spoke to an attorney who told me the opposite. How do I word this to his attorney or is his attorney right?

My husband is in prison for one year for hurting me. I also have a 5 year restraining order against him. Will I be able to get a divorce from him when he is in jail and has a RO.

Is it possible to have a restraining order or protection order without divulging my home address or place of work. I am getting death threats regarding an my girlfriend's ex who has a history of domestic violence. If he knows this information and knows our whereabouts he will take action against it and has no care in the world for the reprocussion of the law including his own life.
