My girlfriend came to my house uninvited to pick up the kids with rage she got four domestic violence and was sent to jail that night..The cops left the children in my son's care at my home. ..she plead not guilty and she is taking this to trial with a lawyer. ..what are her chances..The four of us were the victims. What are her chances of getting off?

I hired a paralegal to prepare divorce papers, they have not been filed as of yet. We decided on division of property already. I need to know If I can sell items in my half of community assets/property to pay community debt? If not, am I supposed to let house go into foreclosure or my vehicle get repossessed. I do not work due to disability and have no income. Thanks.

I was granted a Protective order 2 days ago. I need a victim advocate to clarify the terms granted. OR ANYONE who clarify if I can remove my belongings legally. The police Said he could and he did. I have to move because he has all the money. Im trying to keep the residence, but its gonna be a battle. I have rights to reside here now til hearing on 25th of August.

My daughter(12yo)and I are survivors of Domestic Violence. I was awarded sole custody of my daughter. For the past 3&1/2 years my ex-husband has continued to violate our parenting plan. He continously blames me for his choices and his daughter as well. Last week he blantently violated the parenting plan by leaving my daughter at our apt's alone. Our parnenting plan states specifically we are required to exchnge her at McDonalds at 7pm. What legal recourse do I have?

My boyfriend was arrested last night for aggravated assault against me. I told the police that he has a history of mental illness and that he needed to go to a psychiatric hospital but they took him to jail anyway. I am not pressing charges but I am afraid the state will. How do I help him get the charge dropped and get mental help?

When the offender is escorted by law enforcement to pick up his belongings from a shared residence. Is it a law that the officer stay present at ALL time as protection?

I have been victim of domestic violence for the past 15 years. I stayed with my husband for the sake of my son, my husband has been arrested any times and the police and CPS have been called by myself and my 14yr old son. I purchased gun and have a concealed carry permit. He came at me last week and I shot him twice to keep him from killing me. Now I have been charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault. I do not have the resources to defend myself. I am out o bail for now but do not have the balance of my bond. I need help asap. Thank you.
