I was served with an injunction against harassment and was never informed by the plantiff that I was harassing her...we were friends. Now I have been given this form and I don't know what to do...she never indicated that she felt threaten by me and showed no changes in her behaviors that would even give the slightest clue as to her feelings...what do I do to protect myself now...

I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents. I love them to much to have them suffer. Guardian since 2010, they are age 9 and 6. suggestions?

I was arrested in 2013 for disorderly conduct per DV and was released the next day. I received a deferred prosecution for 6 months with no fine. The charges are now dismissed. Do I still have wait 5 years to expunge my record to work at a school? I was told by a co-worker who is a Lieutenant of the police department, that any DV charge has to be expunged before being able to work around children.

Can I get an order of protection against my husband for verbally and emotionally abusing me and our teen daughter? There is no act of physical violence, but there was a reported act if violence five years ago. Although I don't have any fears if him hurting us physically there is almost daily verbal abuse, yelling, name calling, etc.

My friend just started dating someone who has to attend anger management courses because his ex accused him of domestic violence. He claims she had no proof and that he was not able to defend himself. I want to know if it is true that AZ courts will send someone to anger management classes without any proof of actual violence?

My ex wife filed for an order of protection from me, stating that I had committed acts of domestic violence against her and my children. She filed for it on Sept. 11, 2019 and said that the domestic violence had taken place within the past year. I had been 1500 miles away in the state of WA since 12/27/2017. Had not stepped foot in the state of AZ for almost two years. I have NEVER harmed my ex, nor our children, I have never made threats to hurt them, I don't even spank my children. This has torn my life apart. Is there any legal recourse for her lying, and keeping me from our kids?
