Where to Find an Attorney for Specific Legal Advice
Arizona has three legal aid organizations which cover different regions of the state.
- Community Legal Services (800) 852-9075 covers Maricopa, Mohave, Yavapai, Yuma and LaPaz Counties.
- Southern Arizona Legal Aid (800) 640-9465 covers southern Arizona.
- DNA People’s Legal Services (800) 789-7287 covers northern Arizona.
All legal service programs in Arizona differ, and their criteria for accepting cases vary. The legal aid organizations above all have the same criteria of income restrictions and legal status requirements, but do have varying priorities.

Individuals may apply for free and reduced fee legal services by using the "Access To Justice Online Intake System" through AZLawHelp.
If the legal services program in your area cannot assist you, you may be able to find a lawyer through lawyer referral services in Maricopa County (602) 257-4434 or Pima County (520) 623-4625.
The State Bar also maintains a listing of all Arizona attorneys on their website, and certifies “specialists” in eight legal areas. (Not all attorneys seek such certification, however.) Lists of specialists can also be found at the State Bar of Arizona’s website.

If I am out of state on FMLA and Landlord knows this and delivers court summons to house I rented 2 days before court and I got a copy 2 days before and I don't show for court but call court can I still fight process . I am in a dilemma.

I am a 28 year old disabled man with a service dog and I live with 3 roommates whom I do not get along with. One of them (my ex) has threatened to kick me to the streets even though I have done nothing to warrant this. Can my roommates kick me out if I am on the lease? I pay my fair share of the rent, I have not done anything illegal, I have not done anything against my roommates to warrant being kicked out, and I have not broken any of the rules to be a tenant at the apartment complex I currently live in. I moved in with my girlfriend who own a house, while I live with her, I pay rent, I help her with home improve such paint, clean up back yard and some repair, now we don't get along, I want my money back or compension for help with home improve, but I didn't pay for materials, just labor, I didn't ask for money for help with house improve or anything, I just pay for rent and sleep with her, do I have right?

My lease states that 2 adults are allowed to leave in the premises. I had a friend stay with me and my landlord forced me to kicked them out. He said that having somebody else stay with me without his approval meant I broke the lease and he could evict me. I have always paid rent on time and he is enforcing rules with me that he is not enforcing with the other tenants. I can't afford a lawyer and I fell harassed. What are my options?

I am asking this question on behalf of my dear friend who is a senior and does not own a computer in which to ask this question. A year ago, my friends son bought a home in Youngtown, Arizona, for his mom 76 yrs of age and his dad who is 84 yrs of age, to live in until they die, rent free. Today he wants to evict them. What can they do? Do they have any rights? What are AZ laws regarding unwritten tenancy agreements?

My house foreclosed and was sold at auction on 4/4. On 4/5 I spoke with the new owner and he said he would give me until 4/12 to vacate. Today 4/9 I recieved a Forcible Detainer request form in the mail. DO I need to be out by today?
