  • I am handicapped and desperately need an assistant. I have a man 49 who is wonderful. I have had 3 strokes and a heart attack and suffer with vertigo. I need someone with me especially at night, I have help thru pima county 3 days a week 2 hrs ea day. My assistant helps in all ways and the landlord refuses to approve him because he said on the application they made him fill out for residency (he shouldn't have to do that) that he works. Is there a way that I can adopt my sister? I have a very steady job as a nanny, so I could have her with me at work. I live in a good apartment. I have all the means necessary to raise a child. • My father-in-law moved me, my husband, and kids from Arkansas to Tennessee, bought us a trailer house and put it on his property as a gift. Now five years later wants to charge us rent. Can he legally do that?
  • After foreclosure involving a single family residence the new owner filed an unlawful detainer action against the tenants who had no rental agreement after serving them with a 90 day notice to quit. The tenants refuse to move and have not paid rent. They only had a month to month oral agreement with the former owner. One of the tenants claims that he is on parole and cannot be evicted. Is this a valid defense to the UD action?
  • This question does not exactly have to do with car accidents, though the situation arose from one.I cannot find adivse on this anywhere-A chiropracter placed a medical lein when someone rear ended me.The insurance company should have paid, chiropracter cooresponded with them 2yrs later which was past the statute of limitations and I guess just dropped it.This was 2002.The lein now sits at the county recorder and cannot be revoked unless by the Dr. who no longer practices. This is now interfering with my house buying process.I have called everywhere and get nothing but brick walls. Please help
  • So my vehicle was towed in a free parking spot in my townhome complex. I know that within our HOA rules my vehicle was parked for a period of time so they had the right to tow it. One issue that we have is that there are not enough parking in our complex at all. It is a complaint all residents have. They have made parking available as if there are only families with one car per unit living in the complex, when there are residents that are renting the a unit and may have up to 4 cars per unit. I was wondering if there is a law that mandates a certain amount of parking for a complex?
