  • Iam a 82 year old widow living on my husbands retirement and ss . My house is paid of , but I pay a small common fee . I recently took out a 130000 loan against my house to help my Granddaughter build a new house . She is now going through a divorce and is not paying me for the loan ( always two months late). The bank is threatening forclosure against my home I am living in. I was going to take a loan against my retirement to pay off the loan . The new house is in my Granddaughters name and her ex is living in it . Can I have my name put on the house and have her pay me rent without bad tax implications. I have three children that this house should be on the estate . The bank has been sending preforclosure papers against the house I live in . I am afraid I am going to lose everything . My Grandaughter refuses to sell her house snd pay me back . I dont want to hurt her . I was only trying to help . She has a new baby

  • I am looking to purchase a mobile home on a rented lot. The mobile home has a shattered sliding glass door and the swamp cooler is not working. Are these things the landlord is required to have fixed before I purchase the home? I'm not really concerned about the swamp cooler as I own window units, but concerned about the door. The glass was completely shattered on the mobile side of door, presumably by previous tenant who was evicted.
  • I understand that the age of adulthood is 18 in Arizona. While it may seem like a silly question, I wanted to make absolutely sure that this applies to my high school's ability to require parental consent or signatures, or notify my parents without my permission. They seem to be under the impression it does not. If this does apply to the school, I assume a simple state issued I.D. would suffice to prove my age?
  • My neighbor is dying and wants to leave me his mobile home, truck any monies and personal items.  What do we do?
  • I was at work and there were two people in my home without my consent and one of them had a warrant, and the other person answered the door and allowed cops to come inside without a warrant and found guy with warrant in my bedroom. They then said they found drug paraphernalia in plain view. They arrested me later in the week and charged me with paraphernalia. What rights did cops have and what should I do? I donot plan to plead guilty for this charge. Please help.
