QUESTIONS

  • We received a tro from district court on our foreclosure it was mysteriously remanded to state court then dismissed by state court we are under appeal to 9th circuit. It turns out opposing counsel clerked for judge at the AZ supreme court and US court of appeals for the ninth circuit. Neither the judge or opposing counsel disclosed there past relationship! Is this not a conflict of interest? Is the judge not required to disclose there past relationship? Is the lawyer not required to disclose there past relationship? Is it of any use in a dismissal?
  • i live with my wife on her dads property since 2005 and we are going to divorce. We don't pay rent and she told me I have 10 days to get the fifth wheel trailor we've been staying in which is mine. Can she just kick me out, or how many days do I got to leave leagally?

  • We have tenants that are not late on their rent(due April 1st). A swat team broke down the courtyard door and arrested both of the tenants 5 days ago for larceny. The charge has something to do with guns. The tenants are being extradited to CO in 8 days. Their 27 year old son is living in the house and is asking all the neighbors to lend him money to get his parents out. Our neighbors do not feel safe and are traumatized by what has happened. The tenants are on a "most wanted" list in CO. Can I evict them immediately because of criminal activity?
  • Can a tentant rule out only one parking lot per unit? My tent recently made a us parking out cars inside. Saying only one car is allowed outside. Shes mading up all these new rules the other tents are too scared to do anything.I have had another incident where part or our light stop working inside the trailer.And she dont fix it saying it our responsibility.   • My Landlord is charging me late fees because I owe late fees. Can they do that? They charge $10 a day for late fees and I only pay $579. in rent. I know that they take out late fees first with any money you give them so they keep you behind so they can keep charging you late fees. How can that be legal?

  • My family has been living at our location for over 3 years. We just asked to renew our lease a few months ago. As we were going through the house to see what needs to be fixed and repaired, my wife and I admitted that a few things is our responsibility. Other things I feel should be our LL. We had someone say that who ever done the tile did a bad job, and that the kitchen needs to be replaced. That was why about 9 tiles cracked. The refrigerator is over 15 years old and she wants us to buy a new one. We told her about the garage door breaking. Her excuse that she had to pay over $1200 for this
  • I have submitted notice on 7/28/17 that we would be non-renewing our lease and it would end, as stated in our lease, on 9/12/17. This provided excess of 30 days notice as required. They did not respond until today, 8/7/17. When we moved in, our rent for Sept '16 (9/13 - 9/30) was prorated. In our notice, I stated we would be paying the pro-rated amount of our rent due on 9/1 for the 12 days we will be occupying the apartment. The management let us know that our lease will end on 9/12, but we are responsible for the entire month of Sept. rent. I am unsure. I have communicated with them by e-mail because I wanted to document it.
