QUESTIONS

  • Do I qualify for food stamps if I own a mobile home?
  • I was charged with disorderly conduct-fighting.I spent the night in jail. I plead not guilty and walked out. I believed I would be able to have an public defender because of my low income and spending the night in jail. I believed 100% I would be provided an attorney. I forgot to mention that the said truck was in fact my personal truck and my son had the privilege of driving it, I would not have this charge. The charge was because I told my son that I to move his truck or I would slash his tires. Can I have help with this on my record please? Thank you for your time. Tanya Winters

And when my lease ended I moved out I asked for my security deposit and I was told the pet deposit was nonrefundable I cannot get it back And he took $300 out of my security deposit because I had let a dumped kitten in front of my house stay in my yard for several weeks and when I moved I took iit with me. I didn’t even waant a kitten I just didn’t want to leave it there for him to do something to it. Is .it lawful for him to do that?

  • My kids are not liking the current visitation - 5/2/2/5. If I change to only seeing the kids on the weekends, the extra child support may be too much. My Ex said she is ok with asking me to pay $461/mo (up from 211/mo), which I can handle, but it looks like the law says that just because my Ex and I agreed on this does not mean the Judge can or will approve - it looks like he needs a compelling reason why the "guidelines" should not be followed. Will the judge ok our agreement, or insist the guideline be followed?
  • I was married in Texas and left Texas due to irreconsilable differences and intend to apply for a divorce. There isn't any property involved or financial responsibility, and we both want the divorce. 1. Can I file for divorce without and attorney? 2. Where do I get the necessary papers to begin the divorce procedure.
