  • i have a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment i live here with my 3 children (14,14,4) a friend of my just lost her home and is temporarily staying with us its her and her significant other... My ex keeps sending messages about too many in my home so my QUESTION is : is 3 adults and 3 kids illegal??
  • I applied at an apartment complex and they told me I needed to pay a holding fee so they can hold the apartment for me. All I did qawas sign the application and told them i would bring tye holding fee another day so they gave me another form stating all of the fees I was to pay at move in. (You sign that AFTER you pay the holding fee). So a couple days later I went in and cancelled my application and now they're sending me to collection for that holding fee. I asked to be shown the policy on that and all they showed me was a paper saying the amount and next to it "non-refundable".
  • I am renting an apartment that had significant water damage from the tenant above. This happened on 07/22/2017. We currently still have no ceiling in our closet, there is still a leak in the closet. The carpet pad has been removed and the bedroom carpet needs to be replaced. I have already tripped on the carpet and luckily not hurt, but the new owners since 9/7/2017 are not repairing our unit. Can I use uninhabitable living conditions to break my lease?

I’m aware that the cleanup close is somewhat covered through our renters insurance but the cost of cleanup is more then what they want to cover.   • Hi. I own my home and established a month to month lease agreement with additional terms (requiring a 30 day move-out notice etc) with acquaintance for our spare room. She did give a two week notice and planned on moving out on the first of the month. She ended up staying 4/5days into the next month were no rent was collected. At this time a few belonging were left behind. She had inquired to pick these items up under short notice once. It has been 6 months now and I was asked if we still had her items and wanted to pick them up. Is she still entitled to these items?

This will be the first hearing. Just in the last few days I was able to gain employment for a department store. Im going to have them garnish my wages or I will be making the appropriate payment. I have honestly just had trouble finding work. Do I need to be concerned about going to jail at this hearing? and can I request a modification of support at this hearing?
