I am a divorced father of two children. I provide insurance on my kids and the ex provides medicaid on them. Recently she chose a Dr that doesn't accept medicaid. Who will be resposible for paying the balance owed? My insurance is court ordered.

I and my children's father have been divorced for several years. The children are very comfortable with my boyfriend and I trust him explicitly. Recently, one of the children was injured at school. Administration attempted to contact me, but I was unavailable, as was my ex. My boyfriend is listed as an emergency contact but has no decision making rights over the kids. Can I afford him POA to make those decisions without the consent of my ex?

My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. My debts, including my first and second mortgages were discharged in Ch. 7 bankruptcy in 2011. After BK, I contacted my landlord (BBVA Compass), to see if they would agree I stay in my house in exchange for reduced payments. They said OK, but said they couldn't provide me with any receipt or written communication of any kind. However, they are considering the second mortgage in the total owed, despite that debts like these are considered UNSECURED. Should I accept this agreement where I won't have a paper trail to rely on in case of a dispute later? Thanks!

My boyfriend and I see his seven year old son every other weekend. I learned the child might not have medical insurance. In the Court documents; it states that the mother is responsible for his medical. The child has never seen a dentist and complains of pain when brushing his teeth. Is that grounds for neglect? I am a manitory reporter, I am worried if I let it go, I could get into trouble myself if child has injury or gets sick.
