QUESTIONS

  • When a spouse passes away and has debt in his/her name only, like credit cards, and or contractual obligations for satellite services or cell phone service that charge fee for early termination, etc.- is the remaining spouse responsble for that debt and fulfilling contractual obligation?
  • I received a summons for an old old credit card debt. If I answer it in justice court (small claims) I guess there are no appeals. How do I request Superior Court?
  • My roommate got arrested for selling a small amount of pot, we got our apartment raided and got evicted within a week, I was never arrested, never charged with anything, and the warrant was for his detainment, the search of his property, and his arrest, my name was not on the warrant whatsoever. The apartment complex now wants to charge us for the remainder of the lease and other charges which comes out to about $9K, what are my options?

Baby was living with my ex-husband (step grandfather), and he said state makes inmates sever parental rights-pushed him to sign voluntarily so he could adopt. He said if I interfere State may place the boy for adoption by strangers and I was not even being considered as adoptive placement. CPS, Foster Care board and courts wouldn't call me back to confirm. Ex husband said if I interfere we lose the boy forever so I stopped. Son died last year. Exhusband will no longer let me see my grandson. I think he lied-manipulated us and State acted inappropriately
  • The CC&R states no clothesline. The home we are in was built in 1979. Is there a conflict with ARS 33-439 and ARS 44-1761? Can I legally put up a clothesline to dry clothes in my unfenced backyard?

The main bathroom was demolished wall and floor exposed... it is now 7/30 and we have not had a place to shower or take a bath...many excuses about maintenance man calling off work or having other jobs to do. We now have roaches because of exposed bathroom floor and cool air is escaping making my bill higher than it should be...I was threatened with eviction if I didn’t pay rent.. please help I don’t really no the laws..5 day 10 day 21 day notices.
  • My boyfriend bought a manufactured home 2 years ago and moved myself and my 3 children in with him. We have a roomate contract that has expired 12 months ago. He just broke up with me and wishes me to leave ive always paid him on time and i am paid up for the next month and a half. can he evict me with out seeing a judge ?
