  • My daughter is incarcerated at the Mohave county jail and has been for three or so months. Her attorney filed a rule 11 in her case. What is that? And they are trying to find her incompentate to stand trail. She has a mental disorder and they have her on lock down 24 hours a day. I cant have visits with her at all. And they told me to call first and when I do they say yes she can have a visit but when I get there they (visiting receptionist) tells me sorry the pod or she is on lockdown. what can I do about this?
  • My ex wife is living with a convicted felon. Is there a way to compel her to give his criminal history? Also they had a dv incident several months ago where both him and her were charged but charges were dropped. Is this relevant for child custody? I do not want this man around my children.

He says he wants to pay me back, but cant afford it. I want my money. He may have filed bankruptcy in Flagstaff and that is what I am trying to find out. I as a creditor was never notified if he did. Can I for free find out if he filed sometime from 2008-present??? I want to recover my money, and hoping bankruptcy law will not get in the way. Thanks!

  • For the last 8 years I have been paying my landlord cash. I did fall a little behind and was making payments. I never kept track and now he says I am 6 months behind and gives a hand written payment sheet for the last 2 years. He wants about $7000.00 he never gives me receipts and wants cash. I have had to go buy all new appliances because when something breaks down he repairs them and they don't last. There is also a lot of problems (unsafe) we have told him about and he does not repair. Can he legally evict us or take us to court.
  • My wife passed away in October and a little while after I received a letter from a collection agency called GC Services saying she owed over 49K to them with the original account being from Educational Credit Mgmt Corp. (student loan)I know Arizona is a community property state but am unsure if I am responsible for her debt. I never signed on any loans and she has no estate to distribute to creditors. Her name was not on the house, cars, or anything. I don't feel like I am responsible for the debt but thought the law might see it differently. I have not contacted the collection agency.

The old repair guy came out and took pictures but never came back. The property manager came out and took pictures because there is mold in that bathroom,m.   • My son was killed by Tucson Police on 4/17/2014 and was not notified. Found out online. I went to retrieve his property and was told I had to wait because case was under investigation and they would let me know when I could retrieve his vehicle. My mom (son grandma) received a letter saying that nobody has come to claim property and in order to retrieve it we have to pay storage. Why do we have to pay anything. They held it for investigation and now want to charge us for it on top of killing my son. What can I do?
  • During my current 6 months of employment, I was hired as a 1099 employee and then transitioned to a W2 employee (paid salary + commission)and then forced back to a 1099 employee by my employer. Despite earning commissions from the first month of employment, I have yet to be paid any commissions. They initially told me I they would pay them and then they ignored by requests for payment. Can an employer withhold and deny paying earned commissions and if so, how long. Are they subject to any penalties or fines for will fully with holding earned commission? What can I do?
