  • I was let go from the company I work for. I had employee housing that I took a paycut for to supplement me staying in the house. I was not given an eviction notice but was told that I needed to be out by 6 pm the same day. It was 1 pm when I was informed. My final check has been withheld until I move out. And my landlord/employer has told me the locks will be changed the next day. Is this even legal??
  • I'm a little confused on what I should do my father-in-law just passed away last month on the 29th he was on hospice here at the house my mother-in-law passed away 4 years ago and we have got an eviction letter I guess that house sold at auction and I'm confused on what I should do because the eviction was for my mother-in-law and father-in-law they've lived in this house for 34 years his house payment was only $248 a month he was losing his marbles and yesterday the sheriff came until this we have till Wednesday to be out how is that right.   • I am an independent student at ASU and resident of Tempe, AZ. I have four months left on my residential lease. With the COVID-19 National Emergency announcement and ASU cancelling all on campus sessions, I would like to cancel my lease for the rest of the semester and move in with family. The Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act makes no mention of National Emergencies and rights extended to tenants. My lease agreement also has no provisions, including none for Force Majeure.   • Ex-wife passed an we shared 50/50 custody of are 2 dauggters, I live in kansas now an her parents hide that death for 24 days to get a jump on temporary custody which has not gone through yet. Trying to hire a lawyer, but in mean time they won't let me speak to them or text back here and there. Tried picking them up an found they took my girls outta country to mexico to their condo. What can be done beside lawyer nobody seems to wanna help, Law say just get a lawyer!
  • I am researching a background for a potential employee. According to the report I received. This person has a conviction in AZ. The case # begins with the letter "R" and after 4 numbers, it has "PR". Without going through unecessary hoops, I am trying to find out what type of conviction that is.

He did not file in time but He said he called bank and they said they would wait 1 more week to foreclose because our lawyer needed more time.   • Mtg of my apt complex wrote my contract for 5 month but noted it is a 6 mo contract. It was to be a 6 month contract not 5. what shall I do? Noted in the contract says I have to give a 30 day notice to vacate which would have been the end of Jan.
