Child Support
questions & answers
Question: my parental rights were terminated by Arizona Am I still obligated to pay child support.
Answer: Termination of parental rights does not automatically end obligations for child support. In the event that a child is being adopted, obligation to pay child support does not end until the adoption of the child is completed. This is stated in the court forms regarding the termination of parental rights. For more information, visit: https://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/sscDocs/packets/js1z.pdf
