If my spouse bought a home that is most likely going into foreclosure. I was not involved in any way for the purchase of this property nor am I on the title. I do however pay the mortgage on this property. If this goes to foreclosure, can the lender come after me for any reason?

I was convicted in AZ for "ASSAULT INTENT/ RECKLESS/ INJURE" in 2009. I understand that I cannot get this expunged if it involves the infliction of serious physical injury, but how or who determines what is a "serious physical injury"? There was no serious physical injury but there was contact.

We have 5 months left on our lease. The homeowners informed us in Jan. 2014 that they will be selling the home. We have been very accommodating for private showings. Now they want to have a open house and asked us not be present along with our dogs. We said okay with the open house but we will be there. Now they are nit picking us , we have been there for three years with NO issues whatsoever. I heard they if they want to sell it as vacant they can "buy us out" of our lease and give us moving expenses as well. Is that true?

I was adopted at the age of 13 from Russia. My adopted American parents were abusive. At the age of 18 I left home. I have been homeless living with friends as I finished my high school diploma. I have not been able to pay anyone for living at their home. I have started community college full time, two of my classes are not college accredited as I was educationally deprive and have to catch up to take Eng. 101 and college math. I spend more time studying than the average student as English is my second language. I work 8 hours a week at a clothing store. I just started caring for a 90 year old lady, more than 20 hours per week, in exchange for a place to study & sleep. DES says I need to work 20 hours a week to get food stamps. Would my caring of the 90 year old count as working even though I do not get paid?

I recently found out that my ex-husband (we were married at the time) was continuing to collect my unemployment benefits under my name for 5 months after I started a new job! DES is now trying to sue me for collecting unemployment! Is there any way to prove that HE was the one collecting my unemployment and NOT me (he was collecting it via the automated weekly claim over the phone)?! How can I prosecute or go after him for the money owed and not me!?
