  • I am on section 8, I rent from a real estate agency. I am being evicted for not paying my water bill. The realtor makes me share the water bill with my neighbor, and divides it in half for us to pay. I have not been able to pay for it, I have two daughters and we struggle to pay the electric and other expenses. In the past he has allowed me to get caught up when i file for taxes. I pay it out of the earned income credit refund, this year he is not allowing me to do so. They are evicting me, I asked if i could pay it when i get my tax refund, he said no. Is it legal to charge me half of H2o?
  • My apartment , for the 5th time this year, as left a piece of paper outside my door with an open-ended notice of water being shut off for repairs. After about 5 hours, I've called for an update and they just say they don't know when it will be done. Is it within their rights to leave open-ended notices, not even in person, of utilities being cut? Do i have any rights in this matter as a paying tenant with a 5 month old who works from home?

In contract that he signed, it says specifically that if he quits without notice, I as an employer have a right to deduct from his final paycheck any costs incurred by his resignation.   • On first week of june my landlord and i had a verbal agreement which was he wasn't going to charge me for the current months rent as long as i turned in my keys to the unit we agreed to go our separate ways but it is now the 5th day into the new month i had expressed to him that my check was accidentally was being mailed to me he have me a few days now the check isn't here yet and he is telling me i have 2 days to move out and if not out on the 3rd day he will show up to collect last months and current months rent and proceed with eviction. Do i have any rights?
  • I want to know how and where to proceed with collecting my money that was finalized with my divorce such as the 401k plan that I was awarded and my child support for 1,064 dollars a month that I havent recieved and if there is a time frame in collecting this money
  • I had to leave a rental property because of an order of protection. The problem is that I had already paid in full the hole lease in advance. The law states that he is supposed to refund my money in case of a domestic violence issue. I have not received any money from him or the return of my security deposit either and he is refusing to pay me. What do I do to get my money he owes me back?

  • I was arrested for marijuana possession, and I successfully completed the TASC program.Since i was charged with a felony but not convicted, can i still have my second ammendment rights intact. I have no prior felony charges.
