  • I have rented this home for 7 months and during that entire time this house has had sewer cockroaches. Landlord has tried everything but they are still everywhere, especially in the kitchen, on counter tops, stove, cabinets and many other places.I want to break lease based on these conditions. Is this possible? Sewer roaches (American) carry numerous germs that can affect humans and pet health via diseases. What are my rights based on this situation? Can you please help me?

  • I don't know if you can help us or maybe direct us to someone who can. KayKay Properties took over as managers of our apartment building. This is not an assisted living facility, but regular low income senior apartments. I am one of the original tenant and the other original tenants and we have gone through several managers. But this company has come in and is trying to dictate to us, change rules that make so sense and threaten with evictions. We have been told that none of our grandchildren under the age of 18 can spend the night with us anymore, if they do, we will be evicted. If someone is on medical marijuana they can't smoke it in their apartment, they have to leave the building and smoke in the parking lot. If they smoke in the building they will be evicted. We can't go to check out mail in our robes, if we do we will be evicted. They will spray for roaches, but we have to count the number of dead ones, and if they have to spray again we have to pay for it. If we don't pay for the exterminator, we will be evicted. If any of us are ill and need family or friends to help us, we have to let management know who they are, where they work and how much they make, if not...you guessed it, we will be evicted.   • My ex husband wont let my 13 year old son live with me and my son is threatening to run away from him and he was drawing pictures of himself dead. I am afraid of what he will do if he has to be there. He lives in kingman az and I live in texas. I need to know how I can get custody back from here. I tried to hire a lawyer and she was going to charge me 4000$. I cant afford that. Since he is 13, how would I get him to the court to tell the judge he does not want to be there he wants to be here with me. Please help me asap. Thanks
  • In early February, my spouse and I received a Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease without reason. We were given until March 31st to turn in the keys & pay March's rent. Our uniy has many health and safety issues which the property management company continues to ignore. This may or may not be as the repairs cannot be done if we still occupy the unit.We could not make the rent for March. With no option to stay, finding a new one with the money to put down was crucial. My spouse works an 'Essential' job in unsanitary conditions-in fear of contracting covid-19. Can we defend more time when its safe?
