I have been verbally harassed by a company that out-sources my company to do work for them. I have a few pages documenting what has been said or name calling that has occurred ( so many names everything from "scar face, lesbian, and whore). I was wondering if this would be considered a hostile work environment?

I was served my notices and went to court with my landlord. She got a judgement against me for unpaid rent and was granted a writ of restitution to be received on 9-1-09. On the morning of 9-1-09 when I returned to the property to finish moving, she had locked the gates. My dogs were still there and I had not been served the writ by the constable. Turns out that she did not received the writ until 10:18 that morning but the gates were locked at 8:48 a.m. Does the writ have to be served or is it just given to the landlord and they can do as they please?

I have a friend who wants DNA done on a child. He has already been ordered topay child ssupport. Plus he wants to sign his rights of all 3 kids over to the mother. My cousin has a 14 month old boy and she has joint physical and legal custody with her ex husband. She has him the first half of the week and he is supposed to have him the last half of the week as per the court. The ex-husband has not seen his child in over 3 months, because he doesn't want to pick up the kid anymore and has told my cousin every week that he is busy with something else and can not take him. He mentioned to her recently that he just wants to give up the child because he doesn't want to be a father anymore. Is it even possible for him to give up parental rights completely?

My ex husband and I have joint custody and he has court ordered visitation. He was a recovering alcoholic during our divorce and has since relapsed. He planned on going to rehab but his insurance will not cover it so he has not taken his visitation in 3 weeks. According to him he is being evaluated for psychiatric disorders in place of rehab. He struggles with compulsive lying, gambling, sex addiction. I suggested counseling for our children and he blew up and denied approving such care. He now says he will start taking his visitation again but is very unstable. What can I do to keep kids safe

If I'm being charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, misconduct involving weapons, possession of illegally altered firearm. Being this is my first offense is there any way around a mandatory minimum prison sentence, and into a treatment instead? I don't feel that 5years flat at the very least would do me any good as opposed to a treatment program.

I applied for my service connected disability benefits in Aug of 2010, I received 70% sc Aug of 2012, but IU denied. Requested DRO, denied! see the travel board on July 23rd, asked for time frame, told I can expect her decision in 1-2 YEARS! I have tons of proof in my file that I'm unemployable. My questions are: 1)Do I have any recourse, or can she really make me wait for another year or 2? 2)I am currently on SSI (unemployable) incompetent for VA purposes (UE)eligible but not viable for VA Voc Rehab (UE)is there anything that can be done to require them to pay me benefits I deserve?

My landlord turned off the heat to the entire apt complex a week ago, and stated that it can't be turned back on. It is reasonable to presume that without heat, the temperature inside the residing units will be comparable to outside. I tried to submit, in writing, a letter requesting that by purchasing an adequate heater to heat my unit during this time, I may apply the amount spent on the heater, with proof of receipt, to be deducted from my rent for the month of March, 2015. I cited 33-1324 and 33-1364 in the letter. The landlord denied the request. How enforceable is my principle?
