  • My friend just rented a trailer in willams.here are the issues he is having with his landlord and corresponding questions 1. The is sewer gas coming out of the drains in the bathroom 2.there are many electric plugs and switches that are coming out of the walls when touched or used 3.there are no smoke alarms. 4.one of the entrance doors has a rotted core and can not be secured, (it can be pulled open or pushed in effortlessly 5. Since there was no lease agreement drawn up an only a verbal agreement in regards to the child support paid as rent can I be evicted? Can I appeal?
  • I live in a mobile home park in a travel trailer that has not had hot water for over a year. In Oct. 2015 I sent the manager/landlord a letter regarding his diminution of services and to reimburse me for when he was not compliant. The remedy was for $1100.00 or 2 months rent. Now I find out that Travel Trailers are illegal to rent. I have had many problems with this place, including electric bills that vary from $50 to $100 diff each month. I need to know my rights so I can stop these people from taking advantage of me. My rent is $539.00 a month with no regular plumbing, water is on hose.
  • We have 5 months left on our lease. The homeowners informed us in Jan. 2014 that they will be selling the home. We have been very accommodating for private showings.Now they want to have a open house and asked us not be present along with our dogs. We said okay with the open house but we will be there.Now they are nit picking us , we have been there for three years with NO issues whatsoever. I heard they if they want to sell it as vacant they can "buy us out" of our lease and give us moving expenses as well. Is that true?

I don’t think I should have to pay for a truck I no longer drive . They want the truck or their money ? What should I do?
