QUESTIONS

  • Is it legal for my landlord to issue me a five day notice then take my keys on the fifth day, a day I have a email proving I had a work related test to take which I missed , take my keys and tell me to make an appointment with him to get my things
  • Is it considered abandonment of my children if I moved out of the home and moved maybe 4 blocks away? I left my husband but am still with my kids everyday.
  • I was arrested on a criminal charge. I was read Miranda and I asked for an attorney. At 11am the next day, I was taken before a judge. She read the charges and set bail. Then I was taken to another holding cell that had phones. Two questions: 1)What's the name of that hearing? 2)Why did I not have an attorney present, or at least someone to explain what was happening? I watch the news and see the same courtroom with attorney's representing the accused.
  • My landlord got a judgement against me for unpaid rent in October. I paid the amount in full as stated in the court document by the date stated in the court document. The day I paid was Nov. 2. Now my rent is late for November. He told me if I paid it by the 15th of Nov. He would only charge me a $75 late fee instead of the $15 a day after the 5th he usually charges. I called him on the 15th I didn't have all of the rent. He is now telling me I have 2 days to get out.Does he have to do the eviction process all over again for November's rent?
  • There was a pipe leaking by my parking spot for the last couple months. My water/sewer/trash Bill almost doubled for the last couple months. We pay w/s/t with our rent when it is due but we get a separate w/s/t bill and it shows that for almost 2 years my w/s/t was roughly the same until last month. The complex gets one bill and divides it by common area the apts pay the rest is divided to the residents. I believe the complex wasn't paying for their leaking pipe they were dividing it amongst the apt units. Can they legally do that?

This is in Maricopa County, Mesa Arizona. Are they liable for any damages to my mobile home? Are they responsible for the removal & cost of the Palm Trees & cactus? What are my responsibilities & obligations? What do I need to do to protect my mobile home?
