I presently residing in a over 55 complex for the past three yrs. Never had to pay for rental insurance. Now, with the new lease coming, they are asking for payment on an insurance. My question is: Is this insurance a LAW? Do I have to pay a yearly insurance or montly? If there is no law, I do not/cannot afford to pay. As well as other seniors in the complex. We only live on a SS checks. Many do not have enough to their personal needs. I cannot pay for a lawyer either. I just need to know the LAW on the subject so that I know what to do. I was targeted by other staff who did not do their jobs according to policeys, I was responcible for menu/budget also medical appointments and to communicate care plans. other staff who did not want to follow Dr. driven diet plans or portion control complained I was bossie. Now my former employer is using these without merit complaints against me to block my eligibility for UC. Also the day of discharge i was in such shock that I signed the termination paper and it was not explained to me to also write in my side of said incident. I have had a debt that was disputed, the credit card company kept adding fees and interest until they found we would not pay. It has been 10 years now they are threatning to serve me with a summons, my question is there a statute of limitations. Is the landlord of the mobile home park legally supposed to tell all the tenants if there is construction going on that will mess with the water supply? Our landlord rarely if ever tells us when there is construction expected and our water will be shut off without prior notice. Isnt there a law against that or something?

My husband passed away and had a credit card that was in his name only. Am I held accountable to pay that debt off? And I am confused, do creditors have six months to file a claim, after they receive the death certificate, or 6 months after you probate? Thank You!
