  • My ex husband and I have joint custody of our 2 year old son. Our son is showing some sensory and possible speech problems. I invited AZIEP out to do an initial sreening and invited him as well. He thinks it's stupid and doesn't want him to be evaluated and would not give consent for an OT evaluation the screener suggested and I gave consent. He also says he won't give consent for any kind of preschool. Professionals are seeing problems and are suggesting evaluations. Can I still get him evaluated without his consent? If not what is my recourse to help my son get what he needs?
  • my ex and i have court appointed parenting time in family court. my ex keeps bringing her boyfriend around me during these exchanges and i have an OOP against him for threatening my life. my biggest question is i know he is violating law by doing that and can be arrested but is she in violation of some law in arizona by allowing it?   • For the last 2 months, after a company bought the complex I'm living in, have endless cut down trees, no warning, all day every day other than the weekends. It took them a month to come and repair holes where the rats were entering and the endless noise has made living here stressful. What is their rights as the owners of the complex and how much noise and inconvience they are causing everyone living here?

  • My landlord added a line in my lease that he can charge me for maintenance calls. I believed this to be for damage to the property that was our fault. After moving in we noticed a huge leek under the sink that was flooding onto the floor He charged us $75 for reporting the problem to him Then there was no hot water in the upstairs bathroom. Again he charged me $75. Is this legal? Isn’t it the landlords responsibility to maintain good plumbing? Do I really have to pay for him to repair someone else’s house?
